         Book Review Competition and Book Talk competition were organized on the occasion of Dr. A, PJ Abdul Kalam's birth anniversary being celebrated as reading inspiration day through the library of Dhanwate National College. Student's Book Review was exhibited in the library. Firstly, the college librarian Dr. Vaishali Malode (Vadnerkar) introduced the program and Dr. A. P. J Abdul Kalam's effigy was felicitated by floral tributes. On this occasion, the principal of the college Dr. O. S. Deshmukh, Dr. Bharti Khapekar Department Head, Marathi Department, Dr. Kulbhushan Meghe, IQAC Coordinator, Jayanti – Punyatithi Committee Coordinator, Prof. SS Gaharwar were present.

Also on this occasion Dr. Padmini Ghosekar recited a poem on the life of Bhausaheb Panjabrao Deshmukh while Prof. Mayuri Thakare read a poem on the life of Dr. A. P. J Abdul Kalam,Vikas Chute, a student He gathered information about Dr. A. P. Dr. A. P. J Abdul Kalam's book Agnipankh and was also guided by Dr.Bharti Khapekar and the presidential speech was given by Dr. O. S. Deshmukh did then Dr. Vaishali Malode concluded the program with vote of thanks. College faculty and non-teaching staff and students attended the program in large numbers.
