   At Dhanwate National College, the Library Department and English Department jointly organized an event on Friday, January 16, 2026, under the government initiative 'Reading Resolution of Maharashtra,' titled 'Interpretation of the given picture, Idioms and Phrases with a short Description, Poetry Recitation.' After the event, the dignitaries were welcomed. The program was chaired by Dr. Vaishali Malode, IQAC Coordinator and Head of the Library, and the chief guest was Dr. K. K. Askar, Head of the Arts Department. During the program, students presented their interpretations of the given picture, idioms, and phrases with short descriptions and poetry recitations in a very impressive manner, and Dr. Vaishali Malode, Librarian, provided valuable guidance. The program was conducted by Dr. Oak and Dr. Rita Sheware, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Prof. Amit Bhusari. The event was attended in large numbers by all the college faculty and students.
