The program was chaired by Dr. Prashant Kothe, Principal of Dhanwate National College The college librarian Dr. Vaishali Malode (Wadnerkar) gave the introductory remarks, and in the presence of the dignitaries, floral tributes were offered to the statues of Dr. Bhausaheb Panjabrao Deshmukh and Dr. S. R. Ranganathan, the father of the library. A large number of book publishers, distributors, college professors, and students were present.
